We plan to take the confidence we have gained through our Student-Made experiences with us. Our time trying to actively sell and market our products as well as the community’s support have helped build our self-confidence immensely.

What drew me to Student-Made was supporting other entrepreneurs and joining a group on campus directly related to things I am so interested in. This has been such a meaningful experience because I love getting to learn from and work beside new people and my co-managers have been fantastic. 

I am so happy that Student-Made has not only been able to help me in my journey, but help other college student entrepreneurs around the country, because that just means that the word of Student-Made is expanding and will hopefully reach more college campuses to help more students!

Whether it’s a local business, a fun event happening on campus or the local community, or a potential collaboration, Student-Made grows through partnerships.

If you want to build something, don’t expect the journey to be a straight line. So keep experimenting. Keep listening. Keep building community. Keep asking for help. And keep going, you got this!

Through Student-Made, I want to learn more about running a business. Small stuff such as attending pop-ups, restocking when items go low, and keeping up with the website is not as easy as you think, but it teaches you time management, which is very important!

This role has given me so much experience while being in college, and put me ahead of the curve when it comes time to look for a job after college. I believe it’s impressive how much I have accomplished at such a young age, and that’s all thanks to Student-Made.

Every August, campuses come back to life. Students return with fresh ideas, new goals, and lots of excitement (and maybe a little uncertainty, too). It's a chance to reset, try something new, and decide what kind of impact you want to have in the year ahead.

I was drawn into the Student-Made community because of how happy everyone was. They were happy not only to be selling their work, but also to support each other along the way. During this time, I had a bunch of people hyping me up and pushing me to grow my business.

Student-Made gave me a community that encouraged me, challenged me, taught me, and ultimately shaped me to be the creative businesswoman I am today. I hope I'll be able to inspire others and encourage them in their journey of creativity.
