I was drawn to the Student-Made community because it brings together a group of creatives and entrepreneurs who are all building something meaningful. Being in an environment where innovation, creativity, and business come together aligns perfectly with my goals and mindset.

Working as a Student-Made manager has allowed me to become connected to a community of fellow creatives and small business owners who are passionate about entrepreneurship.

Student Made has shown me that running a business while being a full-time college student is truly possible. The program has exposed me to the creativity and innovation of other student entrepreneurs who are building products and ideas I didn’t even realize were possible.

As a business owner, when things feel heavy or you’re feeling unmotivated, the answer isn’t usually doing more. It’s creating space. And often, the easiest place to begin is the space where you work every day.

To me, Student-Made has meant personal and professional growth. I have been challenged to achieve and given all the resources to succeed. Because of Student-Made, I feel more ready to pursue a career in the workforce and to continue running my own business. 

Student-Made gave me so many opportunities to sell closer to my peers and my community.  Meeting all of the other entrepreneurs part of Student-Made here at OSU has been beneficial in hearing their feedback and learning about their different ventures.
